About Us
A WIDE RANGE OF FABRICATION SERVICES IN ADDITION TO THE MANUFACTURE OF PLATE GIRDERS

Jamestown’s journey began in Inchicore, Dublin in the mid 1990’s as a steel stockholding and profiling business. From those early days Jamestown has since established itself as a leading supplier of Plate Girders, Cellular Beams, Crane Gantries, Bridge Structures, and many other complex fabrications.

Moving to Newbridge in 2003 was indeed a milestone in the company’s development and whilst investment continued in Plasma and Oxy Fuel Profiling Machines, Jamestown installed its first T & I Automated Beam Welding Line and the manufacture of Plate Girders and Cellular Beams commenced.

Having outgrown the Newbridge site, Jamestown relocated to the current 17 Acre site in Portarlington in 2015. With 180-metre-long workshops and extensive laydown areas outside, the manufacture of large Crane Gantries, Road and Rail Bridges and Offshore Structures have become Jamestown’s staple.

Further investment in large Blast & Paint facilities capable of handling structures up to 56 metres long has established Jamestown as a major provider of large quality steel components and structures to many leading customers and projects throughout Ireland and the UK.
